nice looking notes. just in case you didn't know, that 5000 dinara you have shown with the "Z" prefix serial number is a replacement note, much less common that the normal "A" prefix standard note.
Appreciated, yep I did know it was a replacement but forgot to mention it LOL I have a few other couplns that I have no idea what they are, I think they might be food coupons, could you have a look and let me know?
That's a ticket to a Zenica band concert. As can be seen by the issue number, they're pretty big there
ummm, not sure where that comes from, but it isn't a concert ticket. they are indeed food vouchers (bon za ishranu translates roughly as coupon for nutrition), issued by a local Iron Works Foundry, DP Zeljezara. This particular series is found in 50, 100, 200 & 300 dinara. Interestingly, looking at my piece similar to yours, mine is numbered 1 higher than yours (052949). I would be willing to bet that you purchased your out of Texas?
Hummmmm I see you have been busy today!! Beautiful notes.. Thanks for posting De Orc!! Beauties indeed... Rickieb
food coupon or concert ticket... quite the differnce kind of a drab looking note though ... pretty similar to the last zimbabwe series Interesting piece of history those ration coupons are though arent they
Thanks for the info LOL I cant remember were I got them from but have had them for a while, at least now I can write them up LOL
