Is this an error bill?

This looks like the $5 is off center. Is this something valuable? I am new to collecting, and I didn't if this was anymore valuable than a regular bill.

I don't know if I would call it an error. It's off centered a bit. My understanding is a little off centered like this actually hurts the value of the note. If it was way off centered it would probably carry a premium. But, with it's condition, it's not worth much over face. But, it's old so I would definitely hang on to it if you can. :)

you really need to be missing part of the design for it to be an error.. the more thats missing the better... if you get part of the next note over, then you hit the jackpot :)

Everything else Camaro said holds true :)

I would definately hold on to both of those notes because of the age of them! Great finds!
