Morgan date help!! Please!!

    Looks like some machine dubbling...I'm not sure...might be a VAM.

    Not a clue whoopig - but you can try looking here Vam Link and see if you can find it. If you can't - those would be the folks to ask ;)

    I agree with GD...if you have a library you could look there...mine has a book on VAM's....

    Thanks for your help. I thought it was VAM 3 but the die chips dont match in the eights. I have emailed SSDC and Leroy Van Allen for help.

    I tell ya...some of these VAMs drive me crazy. For me, if I can't see it clearly under 3X magnification, I don't buy it.

    Maybe that is why I like the 1955/72 DDO Lincolns or the Wisconsin State quarter with the extra leaf. You can SEE them without a high power scope!
