Ok, we all had fun at my expense (not the first time, won't be the last). I was shaking my head in disagreement as I scanned those posts, not seeing the intended 'joke', and thinking you guys were clueless.

But that brings up a point. If a new enthusiast, or someone just doing a Google search on doubling came across this thread and read the replies that were meant sarcastically, they may mistake the comments as reinforcement/agreement of the OP's claim of this coin being a DD. Then we would have even more 'Salvadors' posting garbage threads like this believing they found the holy grail of cents.

Maybe do the Reddit thing, and add a " /s " after a sarcastic post. It might help slow down the spread of misinformation.
