I'm envious... CirCam is a term invented for a Circulated Cameo coin. Certain coins show up better for these than others. Busties are particularly good and I am quite enamored of the Queen Victoria pieces.

I think it has some nice contrast and is a fantastic coin- congrats!

Mine has the black and white contrast going on, but unlike yours it has a wimpy strike and much less detail. Like you I’m grateful to own one regardless of grade.

These are my specialty, as i try to build a date set 1795-1803 in vf. I love the dbd's and all early American coins in general....keep em coming guys!

Nice we have the same coin!

Oh is my coin a strong strike? I’m not too familiar with them.

Do you think I’d have a chance at getting a CAC green sticker?

Nice! Yeah it’s a beautiful coin!

You say it’s your specialty so just curious: do you think it’s worth trying to send mine in for a CAC sticker?

Or do you think it’s not a good enough
F-12 to earn the CAC sticker?

Cac sticker?just get a green circle sticky some green glitter and a green marker and write cac boom no spending big bucks necessary.

Imo...i don't think it really needs it. Its a nice coin as is with good eye appeal for the grade. I wouldn't waste my time unless you were looking to sell in the future...which, in that case, with some buyers the little sticker adds a premium.

Well I mean I’m just curious if my coin is close to the next grade up or if it’s pretty average for an F-12.

I know some coins are nicer for their grade and a CAC sticker says “Yup, this is one of the nicer F-12s we’ve seen but not quite nice enough for a higher grade.”

Concerning the fascination with the little green sticker, perhaps we could have one with the face of a previous president with the words wonderful, fabulous, outstanding, great, ... :)

Yours is decent for an F12, a little bit nicer than most other 1799 F12 specimens I've seen. It isn't enough to warrant an F15 grade IMO
