1963 $20 star note

    I recieved this out of a ATM. Was going to spend it and my friend pointed out it was a star note and said they are really rare. I am not a collector but am now very interested in these bills. Any info would be great. thanks for your time.

    Welcome to the Fourm at CT...

    From what I can see of the note it has a long horizontal crease down the center of the note, the traditional vertical center folds..some rough edges and possible corner bends, general circulation.
    It is a Star note from San Francisco and indeed in CHCU it is rather rare!
    There were 1,280,000 notes printed and in Gem condition would go for about 130-150 USD.

    In its current condition, maybe $40-50..to the right buyer.
