I know if you guys are like me, you check every coin when you get it in change. I thought it would be neat if people posted their "best" coin from pocket change from today. Well here is my rarity! a 1990 BU RD Memorial. Ain't she a beaut?

I've seen a lot of state quarters, including Oklahoma. I was never impressed with this issue until I found this example in my change yesterday. : )

Keep this going. Something is bound to show up. I find gems in change from time to time and post them. Hobo hates it but I still post them :)

my best finds were two silver dimes. About 6 months ago I rode to the supermarket and got in change a 63-d dime and I went there the day after to get something for my mother and got in change a 47-s dime. And about 3 weeks ago my grandma gave me a huge piggy bank full of coins(no coppers at all, mostly dimes and quarters) for my 16th birthday. I found a 54-s dime in there and a lot of world coins(last year the went on a European trip). ((but not really pocket change))

I got a 1950 A $10 bill in change, thought that was neat, that was a while back though.

This is cheating, but when I lived in Las Vegas, I went to a coin shop called Sahara Coins (loved that shop) pretty regularly and always tried to end up with an odd amount so I'd get change because they threw a LOT of "junk" coinage in there.

A dealer friend of mine called me when I was out there to come and buy two halves from her blackjack rack. When I got there one was a '64 Kennedy, and the other was a 1900 half, so I was pretty happy that day getting both for .50c. This was probably three to four months ago.

I used to have everyone I worked with cherry-picking for me. I'd come in some monday mornings with coins taped to my tool box. Usually it was wheat cents, but I won't complain.

On 3-2 of this year, I was going through my little change box trying to scrape up some coins for the vending machine at work. Noticed the strange looking reverse of a dime. I flipped this coin over and to my big surprise it was dated 1940 . While it was well circulated, I could not believe that I had actually received one of these in what had to be pocket change. It had been many, many moons since I have seen one of these in circulation.

I received my proof Lincolns the same day. For some reason I was much more pleased with finding this worn out dime.

Today I found a star note in my wallet, and I have found several District of Columbia quarters in my change in the last couple of weeks.
