This will be my first order from the mint since 1982, The Washington Commem Half

Are the ridiculous prices for 2009 Lincoln Cents nearing their demise? The coins have been found in circulation in Houston, Texas. The US Mint will also begin sales of 2009 Lincoln Birthplace Two Roll Sets on March 13th!

 

I think that will be the proof set!!

 

I don't think so, Its on the link you posted check it out. I think its all 4 lincolns in the older copper composition.

 

Isnt it supposed to be that special set with the silver dollar?

 

It appears they pushed back some of the release dates for other stuff, I thought the 'old' release date for the 09 silver quarter proofs was 3/13.

"In addition, the Secretary of the Treasury shall mint and issue numismatic one-cent coins in 2009 with the exact metallic content as contained in the 1909 one-cent coin (95% copper, 5% tin and zinc). These numismatic versions will be included in the United States Mint’s annual product offerings."

As far as I know, from hearsay, the set will include a Lincoln silver comm. $1 as well as the four cents in original composition (95% copper, 5% tin/zinc). :secret:

 

Guess I'll have to buy another Lincoln silver Comm.

 

the only rolls i saw going over 30 were the extremely limited KY release...and the mint wont be selling those...

 

I still doesn't think it matters in the long run!!

Even $25 for a roll is crazy in my mind!!

 

I guess, but for the 1909's its the limited mintage that call the most value so...your right we'll see what happens, or maybe not b/c we'll all be dead by that point
