Look at this Ebay item..I'm jealous. Up to $22. Read his description.http://cgi.ebay.com/2009-P-D-VDB_W0QQitemZ110358476793QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCoins_US_Individual?hash=item110358476793&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
I had 2 rolls and sold them for $150.00 I figure in a few months I will get some more from the bank. He offered to buy them when he found out I had them and offered $75.00 a roll. I figure he will resell them but hey I got $150 for them and paid a dollar. I'll use the money to get some dimes as I am collecting them. Ice
Wait a sec. Do all the new 2009 Lincoln cabin reverses have the VDB on them? I never heard anything about that before. Bruce
Are you kidding me? Someone paid over $22 for two modern cents? They need one of these to the head > :hammer: mralexanderb - ALL of the cents have VDB on the obverse bust truncation.
That pic would be of the obverse. There's been a VDB there (under Lincoln's shoulder) on every cent since 1917 (except a few error coins with grease filled dies, etc...). This guy was/is obviously trying to prey on uninformed bidders with his little VDB spiel... Looks like he got one, too... --Paul
I bet the '09-S VDB (proof) will really bring out the suckers. $800? $1200? Who knows? I can't wait...
