    Definitely environmentally damaged so yes, it's a double clad layer. The first layer is normal clad and the second layer is dirt. Sorry, couldn't resist. :smuggrin:

    I agree with all above posts, ED and probably had been buried for some time. NAV, No Added Value, just PMD and a spender, in my opinion.

    I metal detect. I fave found thousands of Environmently toned clad coins and nickels because of long term exposure to dirt, soil, sand, water and hrash chemicals. They are compromised of Cupro-Nickel which is 75% Nickel and 25% Nickel.
