Has anyone else seen the full page ads for gilded $2 bills, at only $48 for a set of four? (Plus unspecified shipping charges, of course.)
Wait so your telling me the 100 I bought last night aren't rare, and wont be worth millions in the near future:goofer:. But the guy on T.V said they were almost sold out, and they were a great investment. LOL sorry I couldn't resist.
some interesting photos here... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120375379317&_rdc=1
I've got one with a jelly stain on it. It must be WAY more rare than these are! it must be worth a FORTUNE! :} :} :}
its not a joke.. but it is just another one of those gimmiks we see everyday ... the gold leaf make folks think they are getting real gold for bottom of the barrel price. The gold leaf is only worth a dime, maybe less. Sure they look nice as a presentation piece... but they make you buy 4 ... what a load of cr... junk!
I don't even think it's worth that much. I seem to remember reading somewhere that gold leaf is useless, and can't even be melted down.
So this guy is keeping one and trying to get his money back with the other three. That's entrepreneurship! Especially if the stain is shaped like a New Testament figure.
That wouldn't surprise me. It's probably so thin that it would simply vaporize if you were to try and melt it.
