Some kinda Chemical Toning?

    If it is your coin, you can get a better photo of the coloring out of the 2x2 holder. The mylar can distort the color. If you have a "color balance" setting procedure on your camera, set it with a sheet of white paper and put the coin on that. This should show the accurate colors of the toning. It really is difficult to tell in the holder.

    Yes, in my best guess, the coin has been chemically toned! From past experience and knowledge, i would venture to say that the coin was washed in a soap type solution. Hand soaps and Dishwashing liquid will often cause the Copper to turn bluish intermingled with puple and greenish hazes.
