1911 penny is this a lamination error or...

    1911 wheat penny with some issue on the obverse. Not sure if you call this a lamination error or something else. What do ya think? 11 lam obv.JPG 11 lam rev.JPG

    Could it be a retained cud also? I think I have seen some that look like this.

    Not a retained cud die break, not a die break.

    Looks like scratched/damage to me.
