Just picked these up a couple weeks ago. I've wanted a nice Franklin Proof for a while and really wanted a 1914 Barber Half.
Got something that I was surprised to learn exists - a birth year coin in an OGH. Might have to try building the full set at some point.
This is the only "PL" graded 1897-S Barber Half that shows up in the population report for either of the two major TPG companies. My understanding is that PCGS only recently started using the "PL" designation for Barber Halves (and other non-Morgan coins). I'm not 100% sure so feel free to correct me on this. In addition, please feel free to post any thoughts, including criticism (as long as it's constructive). I fell in love with the coin but constantly trying to learn more.
Not a big fan of Capped Bust Dimes but this one changed my mind. Seller photos. I usually photograph purchases before they make it into the safety deposit box, but the bank branch was closed for months. When it opened back up it was only for short periods, so .... BTW it has closed again.

Give me some cleaner shots of both h-10's and ill attribute them for you. The 61 has some interesting varieties, as well the 1830. Oh yes the 1876 s quarter too. As they are known for their varieties
The 1876 s looks to be a mpd ,I would need to have in hand to determine which one. 1861 h -10 is an 1861 closed 6 date style.it has a knob on ths 6 making the opening closed as the other 6 date style that knob isnt there and the 6 is open. It is a V-5 rpd-001. This is also sometimes called the 1861/0 overdate which has been refuted. In vf. @ $55. Coin. The bust I neeed to work on somemore.
$40 seller claims this is a lot of 18 1964 proof dimes and 16 1964 proof nickels this is the only picture.Do I trust what he says?no but if you think about it The silver dimes are worth a total of $36= melt $2 a coin alone without the nickles seems like a good deal and I can return it anyway if I don't like what comes.
These came in today. I thought they were interesting. They are all ~25mm diameter. Top: Full Moon - silver Left: Blood Moon - copper Right: Harvest Moon - Brass Z
