My beautiful and loving girlfriend bought me an ebay grab bag for part of my Christmas present from some random seller. She is not a coin enthusiast, but she puts up with and supports my excitement about it and was super thoughtful to think of coins for me. Next year I will introduce her to NGC slabs for Christmas ideas. Anyway, this lot was great for an error and variety pick, but not intentionally good on the seller's end as usual on ebay. First find was a series of nice laminations on the reverse of this 1920 wheat cent: The surprise of the bag was this 1994 20 Centesimos that exhibits some great doubling! These can get an even wilder spread from what I have found, but still not bad. And to top it off, a minor RPD, 1899 1c, Snow #5, ihv #8. Upgraded my albums some with other items in the lot, but these three were welcome additions from a random ebay lot!
A very nice assortment but why wait until next Christmas to introduce her NGC slabs? Introduce her to them in time for your birthday.
