Just a couple of new wheat cents to add to the collection. Sorry, I know I am a bad photographer, but just wanted to share. The '29 D is the first cent I have in the collection with any discernible toning. I thought it may be good to have just a little variety to the set. I agree with the seller in that I feel the '26 D was under graded, but it will be wonderful in the collection nonetheless. Thanks and enjoy! 1924 P obverse.jpg 1924 P reverse.jpg 1926 D obverse.jpg 1926 D reverse.jpg 1928 P obverse.jpg 1928 P reverse.jpg 1929 D obverse.jpg 1929 D reverse.jpg

Fun coins!! Was there a reason why you liberated those coins? Just curious.

Thanks! The '26 D was the only one I liberated. It was graded PCGS as AU 55. I enjoy the album set up I have but the coins need to be in 2x2's for it to present like I want it. I'll try to take pics tomorrow after I get home from work so you can get an idea, but generally I like the coins a little on the raw side to fit into the album style I have.

I've seen (and taken) far worse photos, and have definitely seen far worse cents. Those are pretty handsome looking examples.

Remember to crimp the staples so you don't damage a beautiful coin.

I did away with the staples, I use 2x2 self stick they work great. Nice Lincoln's thanks for posting them.

I think that many would agree to you about presentation and a number of folks liberate slabbed coins for many reasons. I prefer unslabbed myself, but I own a number of slabbed coins...generally the more expensive ones where buying slabbed adds a dimension of assurance that you are getting a genuine product. It's fun building up your LWC/LMC/LSC collection, balancing adjacent coins as you go along. Makes for a nicer presentation.

This is the only reason: to have them presented in a nice binder format. I do have my key dates slabbed with lower grade fillers for the album just because I like the reassurance and am realistic in that I know I am not a professional grader. You are right that it is fun and plan to continue for years to come with various other series.

I know the pic is of my Peace Dollars but I cannot get the Lincoln example to post...says file is too big and nothing but errors when I attempt to load with resized file. Still, you get the idea regarding my presentation style.

I am doing likewise. It is nice to be able to see your coins in one binder.
