what is with all of the coins with no picture on Heritage?

    The only thing I can tell you is they all have this statement;
    Not familiar with it and can add nothing more. Maybe cave_troll will stop by and explain it.

    It sure is a pain in the you know where , how can you bid on something you can't see , without even a description to go on , don't the consigners know they'll lose money without a decent picture .

    Umm how long does it take to take a pic again? Like 5 minutes?!?! That is pure laziness on HA's part.

    These coins are not at heritage, they are only listing them for someone. They have been doing this for years -- you see it all the time on the buy it now coins. I have never bid on one of these and I just skip any that show up. It is not really a big deal to me - I only focus on the ones with pictures.

    Hmmmm - you must be forgetting that until just a few years ago, less than 10, that's exactly how most people bought ALL their sight unseen coins.

    And realize, a coin bought on the basis of a picture is still a sight unseen coin. To be a sight seen coin, you have to hold it in your hand when buying it.
