Here are the pics. Found it going through mom's change bank.

The back is normal. The front of the coin is orange?/lighter penny color.

Is there a missing front to this dime or what?

    What can it be worth?

I think it;s from enviormental damage the color is not right for a missing clad layer coin.

I agree. The front is stained from something.

the more I look at it under the loupe, looks like it too... but if it was a stain... it is exactly around the front face... none over the edge.

worth seeing if it can be cleaned to confirm?

It would look more like this if it was a missing clad layer more of a copper look to it

I'm going with enviormental damage. The good news; it's worth a dime.
