The wait was worth it! Following USPS diversion after diversion, my Secret Santa gift finally arrived today. Yup, on a Sunday! My Secret Santa really did some homework. I vaguely remember a thread where a CT member showed a collection of old piggy banks, one of which was just like the one pictured here. I commented at the time that it was identical to one I had as a child. At any rate, I am so happy with this present! Unlike the one of years past, this will be with me to the end. Many thanks to my Secret Santa!

 

Busy with family stuff, but want to say thank you SS (not Social Security...) for the birth year Walker.

THANK YOU SANTA! Finally able to post, my holiday has been quite awful albeit the amazing gifts, these coins made their way right into one of my displays and I am exceptionally grateful for them.



The buffalo nickel is truly amazing, I have wanted to get one custom made exactly like this for some time now, it was and is the perfect gift. THANK YOU. It and the quarter sit beautifully in one of my displays. Your gift really made me feel happy, and grateful. 2020 has been one of the hardest years of my life, and the ending of 2020 has really sucked. My holiday consisted of me losing the love of my life and missing out on both sides of my families parties and celebrations. So thank you for making me smile, and thank you for the wonderful gifts. The nickel especially, a stark reminder of the year, and the progress to make. The lives lost, and the lives gained. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Hello old friends. I know that you all have had many sleepless nights wondering about my whereabouts. It’s wonderful to see the Secret Santa exchange still going with so many participants still in it since when I was the host a few years ago. Merry Christmas everyone.

Hopefully I’ll get back in the fun next year, but in the meantime, I figured id show my Christmas gifts from my dad.

 

Here are my SS gifts. A 1965 date set and a magnifier. I really appreciate the gifts. I think, I can really use this magnifier? Good deal.

Santa's arrived today. First up is a 1979s T1 PR69DCAM. Thank you very much! this is my birth year, and is also the highest graded coin I own now.

 

Second, I received a 07 IHC, two offcenter cents, a 1995, and the other is a pre83 LMC. These are a really neat addition to my collection. I only have another one or two that I found at flea markets. Also, a 1960 D with a interior die break (broken skull) This is very neat, I got the scope out for this and also finally a 1955 d/d WRPM 02. Thank you very much!
