NICE--it is always nice to see what can be found under the grass ;--)
If I had more time I would get to use the Whites I have more!!

    Maybe someday.

    PS--is that just a 1909 or is it a 1909-VDB?

Hey cdcda they were about 5 inches down. Most old coins are down around that deep and deeper.

Hey Speedy, its a plain 09. I looked for the VDB. I have found one with the VDB no S mint mark though. Darn. Maybe the next target I dig. Jim

I also get given foreign coins that turn up in the church collection.
Most recently,an Aussie $2,& a Canadian bimetal $2 were found in the collection,so those sorting out the collection found the coins,& gave them to me.I ended up selling them to a dealer as currency.

    Aidan.
