Around 2 years ago my 10 year old granddaughter showed an interest in my coin collection. I gave her a starter kit with couple folders, some 2x2's and display pages, a magnifier, a red book and a couple rolls of wheats and a handful of other coins. Every month or so she would come over and share her finds and I would give her some more coins. Then her father, my son in law, got interested in stacking some silver so I introduced him to my favorite coin dealer and gave him some ASE's as a starter. All this leads up to the Christmas present that they surprised me with last night. Of course they will probably go to them one day, but until then I get to enjoy them.
That's the beauty of the hobby, family and Christmas. Enjoy the memories as much as you do the coins.
Believe it or not, the Flying Eagle cent caught my eye before the gold dollar did! Very nice! You are blessed, I do not need to tell you.
