What kind of error?If any

    These are 1962 proof franklin and a 1991 silver eagle, looks like some sort of error, can anyone help? I can't seem to take great pics either.

    Those are great pictures. Welcome to the forum:hail:
    What you are looking at is called 'machine doubling', it is actually damage to the coin. But don't despair some people will pay extra for those.

    very similar thread to another recently posted ... hmmm :)

    if you do a search on the forum for 'machine doubling' you will find we really are telling the truth :)

    Despite the price of coins which you have and the ones I've posted I would have to agree with above, Machine Doubling.

    Welcome to Coin Talk! I agree with everyone else that it is just Machine Doubling but the coins are very collectible in some folks eyes.
