I waited until Christmas day to open my secret gift. The box was quite heavy and I could hear a bit of rattling, so I knew I was in for a treat! It turned out to contain over 100 coins! My secret Saturn must have know that I like uncleaned coins, because I got a couple dozen! Here they are, soaking away. I'll get hours of enjoyment out of these I also got a nice selection of unattributed coins, including several large provincials! I can't wait to study these. And now here is less than one-half of the identified coins (in flips with info!) PLUS a gorgeous silver Medieval coin! YOURE THE BEST
Very cool! You had better post an update with how those uncleans come out You've worked some wonders with them before.
That's a very nice gift @hotwheelsearl. That French medieval coin appears similar to a Douzain of Henri IV. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces31793.html
