The teller had $7.50 in loose halves in her drawer today, 5 were 40%ers! A 66, 67, (2) 68, and a 69. Just as I turned to walk away, she said “Oh I have some really big ones in here too, you want those?” I said sure, I’ll take those Ikes!

I remember when he was running for president, the phrase was "I like Ike!" Still applicable, I guess .

 

Meow's last trip to the coinstar resulted in a jam and an interaction with the grocery store manager. When he opened up the machine there was an large dollar in the inner dump tray. Meow was hoping he would give it to Meow, but he did not. He just put it in his own pocket. So Meow has yet to lay paws on an Ike.

 

I bought a $200 bag of nickels from my friendly bank. The highlights included 1939 P, 1939 D, 1940 S, 1941 S, and 4 War Nickels. The pre 1960 count was 1930s 2, 1940s 14, and 1950s 16. The low mintage 39 D, 40 S, and war nickels are attached.

 

Great finds. Meow would consider that a treasure for the Cat hoard!

@Cheech9712 I dunno if you've seen what has been going on with the Frog family, but things have not been great for the last few weeks. Haven't had time to search much lately.

3 cwr of halves... nothing of interest.

 

Opened a box of halves. Can you spot the silver coin? Hope this is a good sign!

 

It was a good sign! First half I found a 1963 Franklin, 4-1968D's 2-1969d's and a 1977S and 6 NIFC's.

 

Second half looks promising too. I love enders!

 

Well this was the best box of haves for me so far. Franklins 1954, 61, 62, 63. 4-1964 Kennedy's also 1-1966, 2-1967's, 7-1968D's, 6-1969D's. 1977S and a 1979S and 11 NICF's. 3 rolls had silver enders.

 

My first box of quarters in months gave up 3 W’s 1 WIP 1 AMP 1 Weir Farms and a 1950 D silver. I was happy.

 

I was able to get another quarter box today and one of the rolls has a W ender.
I may save that one. Not sure I want to open it!

 

Just a question are your areas just recovering because down here no one even understands when you ask for a box of coins and you can't order them.i still have yet to find a single w quarter!!!the best for this week is a bunch of wheaties and two silver dimes.

 

My last box of coins was 9 months ago haven't been able to get another since.
