Nyatii I like running w/scissors. Makes me feel dangerous

So I can't comment that it looks like the bumper on my grandpa's Buick?

The way you're holding the coin to show the edge is all wrong. You're supposed to touch it only on the edge, not in the middle of the obverse and reverse.

I have a 1978 quarter. Not as shiny but it weighs 5.56 on 5 different scales including a jeweler's scale.

The normal weight for a quarter is 5.67 g +/- 0.227 g so yours is well within tolerance. Welcome to CT

Sometimes the coin can be slightly underweight. (Struck on a slightly thinner planchet.) It has to be drastically under or over weight to have value.
