I just recently bought a 2005 22 coin set from the mint. It came with the denver as well as the philidelphia sets that include the state quarters for the year. In the philidelphia pack, there are two oregon quarters with no minnesota quarter. I have yet to find any information out about the value of the error if any, if someone could help it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Packaging errors happen pretty often...

I have had several state quarter mint sets with that same kind of packing error. They are neat... and the ones I have owned have commanded a bit of a premium as an oddity... but as for being worth a big chunk, they are not.

was just wondering if it was worth anything more than the redbook value for the set in case i decided to sell, thank you for the answer.

Yeah the ones I have sold brought about another half again as much as their normal value

I got a 2004 Mint Set with 2 dimes in the denver pack and no penny.

I sold it on Flee-Bay for 2x the going rate!!

I guess I'd better check those Mint sets.
