Everybody in that movie gave a performance that's pure gold. I don't say that about a lot of movies.

I don't have any 1970-S coins, just a 1970-D similar to this 1964-D. I will get you photos of it next week, but this should give you an idea.

Friend, I love the enthusiasm. I really do. There is so much about coin collecting to be enthused about. And as you mature in the hobby, you will discover those things. I have been collecting since the 1960’s and hate to say this, but making money is not one of those things to be enthused about. What you don’t know is that you have several extremely seasoned coin dealers that have responded to your thread. These guys are able to earn a meager profit on their offerings simply because they have many years of study and experience invested to get them there..... In closing I’ll warn you that you will be disappointed in your efforts to make a profit on your coins. I hope that doesn’t sully your enthusiasm toward this hobby.

The first coin I ever submitted was to PCGS. A single coin: 1800 Draped Bust Half Dime that I bought on eBay. It was incorrectly listed as a 1800 10c. The coin graded VF25, and after it was sold (because I needed the money), I made a whopping $250 after all the fees and shipping. Since then, submitting coins has continued to be a learning experience. I’ve won big and I’ve lost big. But it teaches you how to market grade, more than anything. So take your lumps and your victories, and learn from them. It’ll only improve your grading skills and your decision making.

If you are referring to my $5.00 PCGS MS66RD 1958-D Wheat Cent, it is not a proof. It is a business Strike as are yours.

Heritage Auctions deals in actual rarities, not the delusions of rarity brought upon by watching clickbait Youtube videos. What you have is an assortment of everyday pocket-change that should be spent. When it comes to grading fees for modern coins, you've essentially lit $100 on fire. Not to mention the money you probably spent on membership.

Here are some 1970-S cents. I have quite a few.I had the luck to sort through a 5000 coin bag a 83year old man purchased from the bank . I got to pick out quite a few and he sent in some . Jim

I just logged in this chilly Christmas morning and found this thread. What a gift! I've been chuckling for the last 10 minutes as I read all the posts.

Merry Christmas all my CT friends.
