You should not have these graded. The cost of grading is more than the value of the coins.

Just for future reference for ultra moderns like that you essentially need it to be the top grade for it to be worth it. The value falls really fast for grades that arent top pop

The 2009-D may only get a DETAILS grade.
Looks like a nice fingerprint on it.

Which TPG did you send them to?

    The keys for Lincoln cents are 1909 S VDB, 1909 S, 1914 D, and 1931 S. I don't think there are even any semi-keys after 1933.

Those are not key dates in any sense of the word.

Leaving aside that there are any number of non-financial reasons to get coins certified, sentimental value and learning being probably among the top, unless these coins have a value to you beyond their numismatic value, you've made a mistake. Fortunately, the most you're out here is going to be a couple hundred bucks, or maybe less if you sent them to ANACS. That's a cheap lesson in this hobby.

Since when does a fingerprint mean a details grade?

Not if you compare them to the whole series but if you break it up in terms of ultra modern there's some keys but really there's more grade keys than actual key dates. A series that long you really have to break it up into segments and look at the wheats as one series the memorial as another shield as a third, copper and zinc as different, ultra modern etc.

In terms of ultra moderns 2008 and 2010 have significantly lower mintages than their peers. The 2010 P is actually the lowest since the 1980 S
