This is the first picture I've posted so please bear with me. I just picked this Barber quarter up today.
That is a very sweet Barber! CAM, yes? 63 CAM? 64? I used to own a PCGS PR63 CAM 1898 half that looked like that.
So I nailed it, then. Sweet. Your pictures posted in the post directly above where you were complaining (in the subsequent post) about having difficulties in posting them.
Grrrrr. The Barber I posted was a PR65 Cameo with a CAC bean. And I can't find it anymore. Grrr again.
Thanks. I keep reminding myself to look at the OP date before replying. Failed this time. Merry Christmas
Hey, some posts- and nice coins- are timeless, right? I’m frequently posting stuff I owned 10 or even 15-20 years ago. Such is the revolving nature of my collection, which has seen all sorts of stuff come and go.
After spending a week in the Greater Los Angeles Metro, it made it to TEXAS yesterday afternoon. But in Texas, we actually process mail and it's out for delivery today after being processed through Houston, Beaumont and Orange in less than 12 hours. It should be here for Christmas.
1900-S AU55 Reverse 1 (reverse of 1892-1899). The transition varieties of Barber dimes are pretty obscure but I've been collecting them for a couple years. I decided to grab a slabbed example of this one, which is relatively uncommon.
