Germany Two from Hamburg Mark (16 Schilling) 1506 (a very Gothic 176 on the coin). Struck when Hamburg was part of the Wendish Monetary Union (Wendische Münzverein) with fellow Hanseatic League cities of Lübeck, Lüneburg & Wismar. Their arms are on the reverse. HAMBURG Emperor Ferdinand II 1/2 Taler (16 Schilling) 1622 @ panzerman- these coins are just the hors d'oeuvres leading up to the beautiful gold ducat you must have !
Purchased in Hamburg in 1993, got home to N. America and found out it was a fantasy piece struck in gold.

St. Albans Abbey AV Goldgulden 1725 Mainz Mint This Abbey struck coinage under the Archbishop of Mainz The coin features an ass on obverse/ and St. Albans on the reverse. St. Alban was beheaded by the Romans in Britannia circa 260AD
I've got 4 different dates. This the nicest. The others are MS62 and MS63 but with pretty luster and no ugly blotchy tone so common to the issue.
