2020 Billings w quarter error

Hi.. im new to coin collecting but have found a pristine 2020 Billings W quarter that has the 'E' missing in 'In god we trust'

I just shipped it off to NGC for grading and a fellow coin person examined the coin and feels it will be a Ms 68 easy..

Is this rare? And is it worth much?

Sorry to say but it sounds like you wasted your money.
The missing "E" is probably nothing more than a grease filled die. I don't think a minor "error" like that would make it worth more than what you paid to send it to NGC.

 

Regardless of the minor error. If it comes back as a 68 you will do well. Good luck.

 

If you "found" it, I would expect that it is circulated. Given that and the grease fill I can't see how it would get an MS designation. IMO.

Thanks! I found it in a uncirculated roll and was in pristine condition with no marks...so did ship it off to NGC for grading.. Hopefully it comes.back in a nice MS state.

 

I have found and still have over 2000+ uncirculated from 2019 and 2020 but this is the first error Ws that I have found
