    Yes one idea. It is an ancient coin of some sort. ;) :whistle:

    Tough call, most of the late emperors issued coins of this type. If part of the legend reads IVS, as I think it does, then its pretty much narrowed to Arcadius, Theodosius I, or Theodosius II. If it reads NVS, then its Valentinian, Valentinian II, or Gratian.

    It looks like a Theodosius II I have in my collection, but it is a bit too beat up to tell for sure.
