Well fellas, I've been through the catalogs and the narrowing of lots to bid on has begun. Looks like I need to do a lot more narrowing haha! This is usually how I start and then narrow down to about 2 or 3 extremely serious lots that I really go for. With maybe a couple backup lots. Maybe I can secure my first win of 2021? We will see!

Good luck! Big name auctions are out of my budget, even at the starting bid.

I haven't received the catalogs yet but at first glance it seems that the offer is somewhat weaker than usual. Probably due to the NYINC not happening this time. Still, the auction is strong compared to the New York Fail or others. Good luck with your targets @kazuma78. I have two or three serious myself.

Triton XXIV has many spectacular offerings, especially in session II. I managed to get two of my coins & one medal in session II :D. For the budget minded collectors CNG E-Auction 483 has some great offerings too :). I've got over 100 lots in this auction .

That's quite a few tabs! I think most of my watchlists also start with dozens (or over 100) coins (that's where triton is at the moment) but there are only a dozen or so I'm truly interested in and would bid on, and just a few of those that I seriously want. And of course, good luck with your targets! (unless we're both after the same ones :woot:)

I agree with you. There are many really nice lots but I wasn't completely blown away as I browsed the choices. I feel like in other sales, (like NACs last auction) I just kept saying "wow!" as I turned each page. That being said, there were about 5 really great lots in my budget range (one is a stretch) that did jump out to me. I'm hoping to get something here since the dollar is getting hammered, which really doesn't help in the overseas auctions.
