im really just trying to build a collection, i like ancients also colonial coins, but i am not at all limiting myself to them, so basically im looking for a site that just has a real good inventory. Stefan
You might want to try The Alaska Coin Exchange. The owner, Mike Nourse, is really cool and very easy to deal with. The better, mid-grade and up, material as a bit thin right now, but he has a bunch of stuff he needs to inventory over the next several months or so.
You may want to look at "mintproducts.com" . I have used them for a few things and have had good experiences as far as product, communication and pricing is concerned.
someone on this site pointed by to northeastcoin.com and I have really enjoyed doing business with them. Nice inventory, and they take 'offers' on many items in addition to having a price. I have given a number of offers on items I felt were already 'fairly' priced and gotten them accepted.
I too have had really good experiences with Mint Products. They are not always the cheapest, but are still competitive, and their quality is always tops!!
I went too look at the The Alaska Coin Exchange link and saved it for latter use!! Had some coins on there I would love to make a offer on...has them a little high but then sometimes I pay over list!!! Speedy
Hey Guys check out www.coinfinders.com.. tell Scotty I sent ya..wont buy you or me anything but have been dealing with him fior a while and he offers cash discounts on AGE and other inventory in stock...
www.coastcoin.com has good prices on bullion with reasonable shipping prices. I haven't found any better for bullion. They overgrade their other coins though
Well for just bullion coins especially in silver I have rarely found prices better than these guys: http://www.silver-eagle-coins.com/index.html
I couldn't say for sure....it would be best I think to look at coin shows and shops...my dealer has 2 right now but they both grade AG.... Speedy
I'm happy with my experience with them, too. I bought year 2004 "World Silver Set", which includes a Mexican Libertad, Chinese Panda, Canadian Maple Leaf, Australian Kookaburra, and Silver Eagle for I think $60.00 (I see it now goes for $66.00), and they didn't charge shipping at that time. (I dunno if they still don't). I added a 2004 Brittania, and that's my "world silver bullion collection."
The beauty of the internet: right now coast to coast has 2005 silver eagles for $9.25, silver-eagle-coins has them for $10.50. Even the 20 coin tubes are much cheaper at coast to coast. It pays\saves to shop around before EVERY purchase.
