I'm "hogging" the thread but since I have so few World coins I like them all. These are all pieces that just struck my eye as it were. Not rare but cool IMHO.

Yeh I really like that one, I completely forgot about it, Then when I saw it I couldn't help but let it breathe from all that crud.

 

I have my eye on a 5 Peso piece. Mexico has put out some truly beautiful coins.

For a guy that isn't a Morgan or Peace Dollar collector I really am starting to like the large World silver coins.
They're big, they're silver and I can get them, in many cases, just over or even at melt.
Yep, even have some of them thar Canadian Dollars.

 

Hmmm? All that chatter you see is there, ie: cheek, ear, and shoulder, But allt he scuffs are not, those are on the holder.

 

The grade isn´t the best, but I love both these coins, a Hamburg 5 Mark from 1875 and a Prussian 1 Thaler from 1817

 

I like them both and these types are on my "list" of future purchases.
Nice, original pieces.

 

They really knew how to design coins back then :high5:
