Just watched the Video of your find... Great Job, Congratulations. Glad you didn't give up and followed what you thought was right.
Why is the coin illustrated in post #1 shown to be Denver minted, while the Wexler letter (post #9) references a Philly quarter?
I am working on that now. I all so noticed the discrepancy in mint marks the other day when I found 2 more and they were D mint marks I'm not sure if J.Wexler did a typo or what but all my coin's that I have shown a D mint mark I have sent in the discovery coin to anancs and have requested them to return my package without grading it
I have emailed J.Wexler on 1-26-21 and had Urgent on email but have not gotten a response back I had all so given him one of the coin's I had found with the discovery coin so he does have one on hand
I'll have to go back and look closer on mine. I have several improperly annealed D's. Maybe I have a variety on an error.
Not quite sure dependens on the coin and the person. I'm not one who puts prices on coins I like to collect them
@Mark68. I deleted my original question as I did some research and found the answer. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/2017-d-new-jersey-ellis-island-improper-annealing.307775/
