I ordered this lot of Indo Sassanian coins on ebay back in early March, right before the world came to a screeching halt; I had totally lost hope of ever seeing them in person, but today they arrived safely in my mailbox!

Three series 1.2 early Gadhaiya, nine weird cousins of the Sri Ha type (one Sri Va, two illegible, six Sri DaMa) and one late Kushan Kanishka II AE.

Nothing particularly groundbreaking, rare, or even valuable, but it's still good to know they aren't lost!

What's your record for the longest delivery delay? Anyone still waiting on coins in COVID limbo?

So, that's a ten month delay -- or, from the coins' perspective, a "very brief pause". ;)

My longest wait was six months, from Scotland.

Currently I am waiting on a book that was last updated as being in Moscow four weeks ago.

Gotcha beat (or should I say mine is worse). I have a fun RR coin that I purchased at the end of Feb that is still awaiting it's extradition paperwork from the British council of slowness.
But I do really love your new lot! Very cool to see the differences in the types!

Wow! 9 months?? Did you already get a refund earlier?

Still waiting for my favorite coin of this year to arrive. Its only been hanging around somewhere for 4 weeks, so its nothing compared to 9 months! But the suspense is killing me. Its from the country next to my country. If I had taken my bike i would have gotten it faster!

My longest was a around 4 months during "normal" times. From Germany, a couple years ago.

Here is one of my Gadhaiya... their designs are so bizarre to me:

I applaud your patience! I think I'm close on your heels too, a package I bought on the 9th of March arrived 2 days ago at long last, what a relief!

    Thanks all!

@spirityoda - the coins are actually Indian imitations of Persian Sassanian coins, specifically Peroz I - there are a few eBay sellers I buy from regularly, and a month turnaround from the time I pay until it's in my mailbox is the norm. Sometimes it's faster, sometimes it takes longer, but thankfully I have never had a package vanish.

For anyone curious about individual pics -

Early Gadhaiyas - the great-grandfather of the type posted by @Ryro and @Alegandron

These are kind of like the weird hillbilly cousins- woefully under-studied and poorly understood

    Sri Va
    ZomboDroid 18122020165934.jpg
Illegible, but probably also Sri Va
    ZomboDroid 18122020165815.jpg

Illegible - zero hope for this one
    ZomboDroid 18122020165849.jpg

And a rare sub-type inscribed Sri Da Ma - prior to the current hoard coming to market, there were thought to be fewer than 20 examples known. Try to see if you can find the face on the first two!

And a late Kushan AE of Vasudeva II - sadly developed some bronze disease; working on getting it treated

Longest non-coin - three months from Russia - sat in Sheremetyevo airport for about 2.5 of those months. Longest numismatic, by registered post from Scotland(soon to be ex-UK?) 2 months.

Gosh! I thought that only third world countries would suffer from this disease! My record is 3 months, a registered mail from the Netherlands, sent by Schulman BV, in normal times. Here in Brazil, the average for any registered mail from abroad is at least 1 month, in normal times, not considering pandemics or the Christmas period.
But of course, I have been awarded in the last 20 years with about half a dozen losses ...
