Nice thread Toad! :D Here are my educated guesses:

    1. Counterfeit
    2. Authentic
    3. Obverse picture?
    4. Either counterfeit, or heavy acid treatment
    5. Either counterfeit, or heavy acid treatment
    6. Either counterfeit, or heavy acid treatment
    7. Probably counterfeit, not to familiar with these. The letters look a little dodgy, along with the rims

Edit your post Ryan, I just added one (#7) so your number 7 thru 10 are 1 number higher now and you will need to look at the new #7. ;)

BTW, that 1806 Large Cent is just terrible! I don't see how people would fall for that :rolling:

We are finding many fakes being bid up that shouldn't sell for more than 5 bucks tops, so it is proving there are a lot of numismatically uneducated peeps buying coins on Ebay but that also explains why you will see some authentic coins selling for more than they are worth, since they also can't grade too well either. :goofer:

BTW - the buyer of #6 just informed me it weighs exactly 4 grams!

I think all are fakes. Most have the same issues on the rims. I almost want to say the silver 3c is real, but the legends are so weak. I don't understand. I don;t think its wear, as the star tips are first to wear. And there are streak like marks in the fields and looks like it was bent at some point. When aspects of a coin are weird, no buy.

Not really, now they will be getting a refund. ;) These got caught in time to get resolution. :D And it all started with that 1806 DBC and someone else pointing out another auction from that seller and I went snooping. :eek:dd:

Was it the dentils on the 1806? IDK much about those, but dentils looked really pointy and angled.

There was nothing right with that DBC. :eek:dd: There's only one variety for that year so it is easy to check to see if everything was correct and nothing was. Plus, there were obvious problems, like the humped feet of the letters of LIBERTY. That was a dead give-away it was a fake and you can compare that to this one, to find out where it came from:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Replica-1806-Draped-Bust-Large-cent-COPY_W0QQitemZ350169202665QQihZ022

    And here's the real one:

    Ribbit :)

Ps: That DBC on the list has already been in discussion on here so if you were keeping up with that thread, it is a give-me on the list. ;)

I think the 1864 3 cent silver is a fake too, notice how grainy it is, the terrible detail in the bunch of arrows, and the wire rims.

It doesn't end here. This seller has already sold one fake 1932-S quarter, here is another drawing bidding: http://cgi.ebay.com/1932-S-WASHINGT...5|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:0|293:1|294:50

seller also has a number of Mercury dimes with the same granularity on the face and neck, for instance: http://cgi.ebay.com/1938-MERCURY-SI...5|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:0|293:1|294:50

Here is an 1862 gold dollar, with very little wear on the devices, yet the lettering is fat and mushy: http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-1862-1-00-...5|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:0|293:1|294:50
