Actually, I was able to get on the website a few minutes ago and I could have purchased my sets but I already did by phone. The website took forever to load the pages up though, even with DSL.
I was also able to get through to the web site, but Spider is right, the order will not complete, it says error no. 14998, and it gives you a phone number to call.
Today was the first time in years that I had to order by phone. Guess what, it wasn't too bad after all. I didn't have to wait too long (5 min.) and the gentleman was very friendly and apologized for all the problems with the website. 5 min. later I had my medal sets ordered and to top it off when I looked, I had an email confirming my purchase already. Of course I was told the sets were backordered.... Nice to see nothing changes in OZ!!
Well...I know how this would happen if I was buying some of these sets.... in 2003 I see that the silver proof sets went up in value...so I thought it would be great to buy the 2004...I did...they didn't go any where...now I'm like this all the time...I'm not saying these will go up BUT I'm not buying any so they might go up a little.... I could say more but I better leave it at this. Speedy

nah...I was going to talk about how pretty old silver coins are and try to get them to buy the old coins and not the over priced sets from the mint...but I better not!!!!! Speedy
The web page has been fairly reliable today. Thanks to friends and colleagues I will soon have 20 sets

There is no way the Mint should still have any of these left. Only 75,000 sets? If everybody ordering bought 5 sets, that would make it out to be only 15,000 people being able to purchase these. The other sets sold out within hours. You can't tell me these shouldn't have sold out yet.
Everybody may not have ordered 5 sets. I only order 2 myself and one friend at work ordered on for his dad. So maybe there is mininimal interest.
I ordered five and put 3 up on ebay at 29.95. They were all gone in less than 12 hours. That paid for almost all of my purchase from the mint with 2 leftover. I would say the interest is pretty high.
People see the red lettering on the bottom of the sets description and must think its saying they are sold out. Ya know what I mean?
