    Here's an unofficial Constantine I Siscian VLPP struck over a Licinius I IOVI CONSERVATORI (RIC VII Siscia 11) from Siscia, struck A.D. 313- 315. 22mm 3.0g

    Because of a monetary reform, it was overstruck sometime after the VLPP (in silvered bronze) was introduced in A.D. 318

    That's one of the more crazy overstruck coins I have seen that wasn't Byzantine. Wonderful & interesting coin, Victor.

    Very nice! Interesting that is was struck on a larger module / weight standard flan. There was clearly still enough profit in striking on a heavier flan further indication that the coinage of 318 was likely re-tariffed upwards.

    The IOVI had circa 2% silver; while the VLPP was double at 4%
