Do you guys know of any free internet programs I can use to do this? I'm learning to take better pictures of coins and I would like to be able to make them look nicer before I post them.

OK I downloaded it and I have the region highlighted, but I don't know what to do from there. Can anyone who uses this program walk me through it please?

the circular selector on the gimp automatically adjusts to the nearest circular visual field of the image when set that way. Then add an alpha layer, invert the section and cut.
