Today’s look in the coin machine. Focused on the quarters for a little bit and found some goodies World coins in the reject bin $6.25 face in silver quarters Nice toned 1964 1963 in great shape San Antonio West Point mint 1968 Proof
Is this from a different machine than your other thread? Just curious how many machines you're 'servicing'.
Yeah same machine, we only own one in this store. However it’s constantly being used, especially during the start of the pandemic. I should of posted what I found during that time
Yep. I got a full set of gold-plated quarters in a fancy multi-drawer wooden cabinet as part of an eBay lot. Took forever to get rid of that thing. I still have a couple of shorter sets of gold-plated quarters, and a whole roll of gold-plated NC state quarters that I got for something like 1.6x face value. I'm trying to figure out how to disperse those in hopes of stirring up interest in the hobby. And, yes, I'm jealous of you for your job.
Jeez...who uses your machines?? I can only imagine what is making it through the machine and into the bag!
With what you've been finding, I'd love to see some of the highlights of what you've found since then.
My guess is he services the machine and it's set not to reject anything. then he gets to go through what it collects when he goes to service it. I'd dump in my 20 years worth of canadian quarters if it didn't reject LOL
A lot of people always forget to check the bin, and that’s when I so happen to pass by to check the bin hahah
