I can't tell if the seller thinks this a real deal or not. Does he think that his grandfathers grandfathers grandfathers father picked it up at the mint with 1954 on the reverse?
He doesn't think it's real at all. It's meant to be humorous. Check out the questions and answers at the bottom of the auction. I made the comment about sniping it for a million.

Yeah real nice. Are those Hanes or BVD's you have on? You look really small, no wonder you can't see those space ships, their too small also.
You'll have to check with HandsomeToad, but I believe the real 1793 S-166 used blue ink on the back and the "N" and "T" had serrifs on them.
Someone should ask if he thinks it would qualify for SGS 70. At first I thought give me a break, but then I read the questions and had a good laugh.
That is hugely funny. I love the notes he put in about what e-bay is doing to him. Some people are trying to correct him but he just keeps putting them off. It does have a nice color Ice
hmm. I think it's a chain cent that was converted to a love token after the famous texas coin club massacre. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it. I think I'll ask him.
