Need ID help - Afghanistan and India (?)

    I need some help with these two. The first one I know is Afghanistan and I have the year as 1316 (1937). It would seem like it has to be a half afghani, but doesn't seem to match the pictures I see. I'm not sure if it's silver or base metal. It's very shiny which doesn't show in the scan.

    The second I'm guessing is an Indian state but I don't know anything about this area. Any help IDing them would be appreciated. 1937 afghanistan.jpg indian.jpg

    Thanks. I think you definitely got it on the Indian coin. For the Afghanistan coin, I guess you're right but the color of mine looks like a different metal than the sample photo on that site. When I Google it though I see coins that look like mine.

    The 1/2 Afghani lacks the pattern of incuse lines as seen on the 25 Pul coin. Not to mention the 1/2 Afghani is 4mm larger.
