I need some help with these two. The first one I know is Afghanistan and I have the year as 1316 (1937). It would seem like it has to be a half afghani, but doesn't seem to match the pictures I see. I'm not sure if it's silver or base metal. It's very shiny which doesn't show in the scan. The second I'm guessing is an Indian state but I don't know anything about this area. Any help IDing them would be appreciated.
The 1/2 Afghani has a wreath on the reverse. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces4798.html This is a distinct possibility for the square coin. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces13846.html
Thanks. I think you definitely got it on the Indian coin. For the Afghanistan coin, I guess you're right but the color of mine looks like a different metal than the sample photo on that site. When I Google it though I see coins that look like mine.
The 1/2 Afghani lacks the pattern of incuse lines as seen on the 25 Pul coin. Not to mention the 1/2 Afghani is 4mm larger. 25 Pul: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces4798.html 1/2 Afghani: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces36990.html
