Seeing Indian head post his Canadian dollars a while ago made me want to do the same, here we go: The rest can be found in my album.
Thanks Dan, I thought about dipping some.. But I almost like the whole "ugly" look.. I have one in the album that is horrendous! lol
Very nice Snaz!!! I'm still adding to my set. I bought a 1955 just the other day. Are you looking to build a complete set?
Umm I'm not sure, These have been on the back burner for quite some time.. actually not even the back burner, they are in the warm and serve drawer. Not due to a lack of interest.. I love em! But I have been trying to focus and learn my copper. Also: Check you water lines Man! you might get lucky and have an arnprior! I wish I was so lucky, lol.. When I was.. maybe 14ish I always thought one of my 55 was an arnprior.. I pulled it out a couple months ago.. its not. lol Imagination runs wild sometimes.
I havent really read much about this series yet so I'm going to ask a question thats obvious to you and maybe others but, whats an arnprior? Can you post an example for me on what to look for? Thanks
love em its to bad they stopped making the voyeguer dollars only good news is that in 2035 they'll prob make a 100th anniversary version lmao :hail:
Sure man, There are 3 varieties for 1955. 1955 1955 Arnprior 1955 Arnprior W/ Die break The 1955 regular has 4 water lines on the right front of the boat. and the Arnprior variety has 2 1/2. The more valued would be the Arnprior with a Die Break connecting the T and I of "Gratia" The price difference between an arnprior and regular is about 100$ in lower grades.. Heres a link show you the die break and Water lines... There were only 2000 of these minted so they are quite scarce.
Thanks Kurt, I agree with the whole character thing. Maineer87, the 1936 Voyageur dollars weigh 23.33 grams and are 80% silver.
