I have not, but I have been interested in the like...

I spend some time over at Goldismoney.info and the guys over there have recomended bulliondirect.com (if your into PMs, Preps and stuff GIM is a really good site, just have to watch out for the politics and conspiricy stuff though)

It seems you can create an BD account and put say 1000 a month into it or whatever you want, then say sometime in the future (long time for me, lol)... you've got say 10K saved up and the POS and POG both take a dive, you can issue a buy order for 5K or Silver and 5K of Gold...

Then you can either take deiver of the Bullion, which I'd do as I'm in it long term and would rather hold it myself... Or you can leave it there, then if the POS and POG jumps back up, issue a sell and they credit your accout with the difference/Proffits... Also, if you hold it, you can still issue a sell, you just have to ship it back again and on your dime, I'm sure... So if you just buying low/selling high and have lots of turn over, you'd be better off leaving it there...

At least that is the way I am understanding it...

I'm pretty interested as I'd like to get into some gold, but I don't want to drop 1000 at a time about what an OZ of gold goes for... I'd rather put in 250 a week for a several months, watching the POG, when I get say 1500, issue a buy for say 1oz Gold and 10 OZs of Silver or something...

    Anyone here used Bulliondirect either?

I was hoping to get more info on Kitco. Anyone use that service? Are taxes calculated as regular capital gains?

I know Kitco is a trusted name but this kind of thing scares the hell out of me. I'll plod along at my own snails pace of acquiring precious metals....

I prefer to buy gold silver for investments in my accounts via etf's and futures. Let me know if you want more info.

I never dabble in futures....too easy to get burned.

If you don't hold it, you don't own it...

I do not think that these are futures.

So use etf's. =) you have a nice interest and it is backed by physical gold in a depository.
