So I hit some scroungy spots but it worked out. The very first thing I hit was a pretty nice spill. (25 coins, $2.10). Had another small spill or two. Got pressed coin #50. Picked up a wheatie 1952-D. I needed 31 dimes for 5000 which I didn't think I would make for 2 or 3 hunts and I pulled 33 dimes. Near the end I got a nice Colorado Springs pendant which is sterling.

The little horse charm is silver stamped 925 on the side.
While it looks like a decent hunt, this spot always gave me 2x as much.

I think the ring is tungsten because it is very small and very heavy. 8.3 grams but it's not marked and all my other tungsten rings are.

Found a silver ring and a dollar coin. My local school which I always had access is now locked up with fences and gates and chains and doors and locks. This is where my property tax money is going for "education".
I was at one of my beat spots. But nothing is happening anyway. I almost didn't dig this target. Instead of getting a good repeatable signal from each direction of the coil sweep, a got a fair signal one way (only 1 not 3) and no signal from the other direction. It wasn't buried but it was far down in some new wood chips. When I moved the target to the surface then I got a very strong repeatable signal. I brush the chips away and I was pleasantly surprised to see a dollar coin. It had to be standing on edge. I've had that happen before.

It was below freezing the whole time. But it might be the last hunt of the year so I said what the hell. The last signal was a dollar coin.

Found something that I wouldn't think I would ever find. I was on a bottle hunt at a 1906 farm and found this piece of railroad that says: Carnegie ET USA 1917 lllll . Being a steam locomotive fan since I was little this was a nice farm find that I don't think I will ever find again! It it is 3 1/2 feet long and weighs over 80 pounds! I only took 15 breaks carrying it to my car, but I got it! :smug:

I found the Titanic. I did see 3 (Big) Sandhill cranes up close this AM, and a male roadrunner.

I knew it would be light, but I had to get out of the house. Only used a half gallon.

One day soon I will start having the luck you guys have. I believe my life would be complete if something came out of a hole that wasn’t a Lincoln Memorial cent..... I did find this yesterday that I thought was interesting. It is a keychain tag. I researched the thing. Seems back in the 50’s and 60’s you could send your cars license plate number to the disabled vets organization. They would send you this back with your cars license plate number on the reverse. And that mailing also came with an envelope to send a donation to the organization in return. I thought that was an interesting concept!
