It certainly would reduce the stress. Even a simple “Received my gift” works. The one I sent was delivered around two weeks ago, but the recipient hasn’t confirmed yet. For all I know it could have been dropped off at the wrong place.

I followed the tracking number on mine to make sure it arrived. I have not yet received anything (if my Saturn is one of those concerned about its arrival).

I'm glad I mailed my gift early & know the recipient has received it . I received an email from the P.O. this evening stating "Your item arrived at our ROCHESTER NY DISTRIBUTION CENTER destination facility on December 10, 7:32 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination. Tracking Number 9449311899564786734938. So another day or two . This might be the Secret Saturnalia Surprise, although I'm expecting other things in the mail too.

I received tracking confirmation from the mail that my gift was delivered to it´s recipient a couple of weeeks ago, but he has not reported here yet.

Hopefully the neighbor´s cat didn´t steal it from his porch.

I know for certain my giftee has got their package as they reported here (and I had a tracking information)

On my side however, I'm still "Saturnless" :(

I'm in a similar situation... I have the peace of mind that my SS gift arrived successfully at its destination. But I'm still patiently waiting (and hoping everytime I check the mail) for a package to arrive from my gracious and generous SS so I can let them know it arrived safely.

If you haven’t received anything don’t fret yet. I got mine mailed out yesterday and I’m hoping it will be there by the 17th. Probably a lot of coins in the mail right now coming to make everyone’s Saturnalia great.

In case my confirmation was lost in the early series of messages and remained unnoticed by my SS, I did receive the gift, with details reported on page 3 of this thread. I know my target received the package too. Looking forward to the festivities :).

@Clavdivs Don’t mind at all, though have not watched the show to get the humour :).

I sent out a few packages recently with tracking and have noted that all of them took longer to arrive than what USPS said... some of them more than twice as long!

I wouldn't fret if you haven't received your Saturnalia present yet. Things are taking longer than usual this year. However, if you don't receive a gift by the 17th send me a message. As I said in the OP I will guarantee that everyone who sent a gift will receive one.

It's a respectful and (I think) humorous reference.

It took 3 attempts, but I finally have a coin in the mail and about to be delivered to my giftee. The first coin made it across the pond in fairly good time, but has disappeared into customs in NYC. The second coin must have been tied to a dog and sent on its merry way because it's taken 16 days to travel roughly 680 miles and still hasn't been delivered to my house. But the third coin, it is at a sorting center near my giftee. With a little luck it will be there by the 17th.

For the record, a nice large coin was sent to [REDACTED] with trackinng number:

    9400128206334171833092

    Excepted delivery is 12/14.

Which would make a full 7 days to go just 1,000 miles. I could literally drive there and drop it off in person to [REDACTED] over the weekend.

    LOL

Bumping this because I am not getting updates in my notifications...

I see that my giftee has received theirs. Still waiting on my end.

Quite alright though, as the last few things I have had coming from the USPS have arrived on average about 7 days late. What is the point of providing a delivery date when you aren’t going to even come close to it?

Regardless, I am looking forward to seeing everyone’s Saturnalia gifts.

    Io Saturnalia!

I've sent a few parcels from France lately to various places. One of them, for my grand daughter living 40 miles away, needed 10 days to reach destination, i.e. 4 miles a day (I could literally walk there and drop it off in person ;) ), while the others, to Europe and USA were delivered earlier.

    Go figure
