I was wondering if anyone thinks that the Mint dumps proof coins from time to time.
I guess they can't catalog single coins in their flyers, so rather than have them in the way, do they dump them?

 

Thank you! I don't think they dump the proofs but I do believe they dump the NIFC's(not intended for circulation) Maybe someone else on here might know if the mint dumps proofs.

 

As things were improving, now I am back to no-CRH mode because my banks shut me out like back in April. Lovely California.

 

I also believe they dump NIFC's because I find a lot of NIFC half dollars in circulation.

 

At one time last year I ordered 6 boxes of halves. Every box contained new NIFC 2018-P halves.

I kept 5 rolls, one for each family member, and re-deposited the other 295 rolls!

 

Meow cannot get halfs where Meow lives, so will never have the thrill of that hunt.

 

Some places dont allow one to get coins rolls? Meow has a big stack of random coin rolls saved to hunt when Meow retires again. Also Meow could hit it as a emergency hunting source if there was a bank shutdown.

 

Got through another box of halves and found a 1987S and a 2003S, 6 NIFC's and no silver.

 

Got to love CWR’s! 7.9 rolls and only one contained clads. I’ll post the results soon.

That is insane! Meow was already pulling out all of Meow's fur with jealousy over @paddyman98 and his metal detecting. Now this? Meow is chittering like mad over all the wonderful prey others have nabbed.

Try Chase bank, and they can order one box for meow's curiosity. That's if you have Chase in your area.

 

2020 P's and D's halves are starting to annoy me.

 

I have like (expletive) 12 rolls or so. Everytime I see one, it rages me because it's a missed opportunity of silver because they are in the way.

 

Unfortunately there are no Chase banks where Meow lives. Also, when you say order; Do they charge you a fee for coin rolls there?

 

$300 in MWR halves tonight yielded nothing of note other than about $100 fv 2018D in BU condition.
